The South Fyn Archipelago Geopark is a vast, multi-scale environment covering over 2,700 square kilometers of land and sea, encompassing more than 55 islands. This geopark highlights the relationship between Earth’s landscapes and human culture, creating a dynamic system for experiencing, learning, and connecting across different scales. Its multi-sited, multi-temporal structure fosters an understanding of the interwoven natural and cultural elements, making it an ideal setting for exploring the layered mediation processes that shape our world. Its expansive, multi-scale nature resonates with my interest in environments as mediators, linking personal experience to planetary forces.
