Rainy M-22 New York

Bus M-22 passes a graphic grey landscape of people, steam, construction and umbrellas, and an occasional splash of red.

The uncut bus recordings capture the layered, moving landscape of New York as it passes by, blending human and urban elements into a flowing tableau. The droplets of rain on the window render the glass visible, creating a transient layer that shapes the perception of the world beyond. This work frames the everyday within weather’s influence, exploring themes of mediation and ongoing interaction between human-made structures and natural processes, highlighting how they coexist and continually shape our perception of city life.
